Centipede creates unique sculptures in assignment. A sculpture can be cast in edition so that it can be presented as a business gift. Sculptures are cast in bronze or plastics and can be delivered on a pedestal.

The sculptures Centipede creates are mostly figurative in nature. There is a lot of attention for the correct anatomy in human or animal figures. In architectural pieces and scale models measurement drawings and photographs are used to make sure the proportions are right. Depending on the size a sculpture is modeled in wax or clay. Frequent @-mail contact with photographs takes place during the making process to ensure the desired end result.

The sculptures are cast in Xiamen. There Centipede also has personal contact with factories that manufacture pedestals in marble or granite and engrave text and logo's.

Centipede creates sculptures for businesses and privet collectors. To follow and influence a designing process is a unique experience and always results in a personal piece of art.

Title: Truck
Material: cast in bronze
Size: 24 cm long, 8 cm high
Edition: 6 pieces

The scale model of this bronze truck is an exact replica due to the use of technical drawings and photographs. The model is placed on a granite pedestal with engraved text. This sculpture is made in assignment in honor of the 20th anniversary of Carrosseriebouw Roelofsen Raalte B. V.

Fantasy sculpture in clay

Title: The face of a tree
Material: clay

Theme: Fantasy sculpture about time. A machine is placed on top of a tree that has been cut. The machine uses the energy of the wood to build a face. The face of the tree ages from the bottom to the top as the growth rings inside a tree trunk.

Chess board

The chess pieces are stored in a drawers inside the chess board. The chessboard itself is etched in zinc and the wooden frame surrounding it has an organic appearance. One opponent plays with chess pieces made from teak wood, the other pieces are carves out of soap stone.

The model of this rocket is inspired by the shape of an egg; a symbol of live. The hart of the rocket contains the DNA of life on earth. The rocket has been send into space to spread our genes.
